Continuous Quality Improvement

As a School, we are committed to excellence and to continuously improve our educational programs and learning environment. To that end, we have established a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Oversight Committee that is charged with review of all relevant policies, programs and processes to ensure the achievement of the mission and the effective monitoring of the medical education program’s compliance with, but not limited to, the LCME accreditation elements.

The CQI Oversight Committee meets approximately every two months. The Committee investigates and makes recommendations for improvements throughout the School, specifically related to meeting LCME accreditation requirements, the Mission of the Medical Education Program, the ISMMS Strategic Plan, and other quality improvement initiatives that fall under the direction of this CQI policy.
