Welcome to Change Now!

Our goal in creating this site is to establish an open, timely, and accurate means of communicating updates to our students, faculty, and staff on activities related to our most important learning environment initiatives: addressing diversity, racism and bias, enhancing wellness and mental health, and aligning the very best of what our school has to offer with our national accreditation standards.

We know that outstanding communication requires transparency, authenticity, and an intentional effort to provide you with the information you need to make the most of your experience as a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). Our school has always valued the input of proactive students who want to contribute to enriching our diversity, collegiality, and academic rigor. We take great pride in knowing that students come to our school hoping to make their mark on a program that will be better by virtue of their contributions.

Change Now is a platform that will keep you better informed but will also allow you to take a greater part in helping us achieve some of our more lofty and important goals: equity, justice, holistic self-care, and maximizing every student’s potential to contribute to the greater good.

Please explore Change Now. Use it often and use it deeply. We’re excited to have one more meaningful way for students, faculty, and staff to share ideas, celebrate successes, and aspire to greatness.
